Train People

I try to be discreet, but every time I look up from my sketchbook to examine a detail, you blink.

You know, perhaps subliminally, that someone is looking at you intently, and that's not supposed to happen, not on a train in London.

One day I'll just say,


“Would you like to see my drawing of you?”
