Where else in the world?
The drive to the gig takes 4 minutes.
You park right outside.
Although the venue is full there is no queue to enter.
The venue is splendid and the sight lines perfect.
You see a great show by John Cale and his band.
The gig is free to all.
Only in Hobart.

Not had the pleasure of going to Hobart as yet. Will aim to do so in the next couple of years.

Some cities in NZ are similar in terms of accessibility. Mount Manganui , Tauranga , Taupo - Auckland has free concerts but the drives can be hellish sometimes.
