Today I attended One Word, One Day with eight other Tasmanian artists which is run in dedicated venues around Australia. Its aim is to bring illustrators together to create pictures, and work and play.
We were supplied with a delicious array of art materials, and invited to explore a theme word visually. The materials and the theme word were surprise. The word was 'once'.
The finished art works will be sold through an online auction on the site (11 July), with all funds raised going to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
